Shopping businesses
Fast pages up front.
A real checkout behind them.
We pair lean, prebuilt UpSite pages with a real store system like Shopify. Your pages make the sale; Shopify handles the cart, payments, inventory and orders. Start with how your customers buy—not a bigger technology package.
Three shopping experiences
How do your customers shop?
Every level uses Shopify’s secure hosted checkout, so your website never handles card numbers.
Level 1
Checkout links
Fast product and offer pages with buy buttons that go straight to Shopify checkout with the right item selected.
Best for a handful of straightforward products or offers.

Embedded shop
Shopify product options and a shared cart embedded in your UpSite pages, then Shopify’s hosted checkout.
Best when selling matters but isn’t the whole business.
Ask Tom about this approach →Fully customLevel 3
Custom headless
Product and collection pages generated from Shopify, a live cart, and Shopify checkout. Total design freedom.
Best when the storefront itself is a competitive edge.

Which level is right?
Before you choose
A clear quote includes the whole shopping system.
We scope the website build and integration separately from ongoing care. Shopify subscription, payment-processing charges and paid apps are additional; plan eligibility and fees are checked for your requirements.
You run the business
You own the merchant account and manage products, fulfillment, returns and customer support. Tax settings and legal obligations need your approval and appropriate professional advice.
We build and verify the connection
Agree variants, stock handling, shipping, discounts, notifications and accessibility. Test the actual purchase journey before launching—not just the product page.
Existing stores need a migration plan
Orders, customers, subscriptions, gift cards and app data do not transfer automatically. Identify exports, permissions and anything that must remain on the old system.
Our principle
We build the pages. Shopify runs the store.
We do not build a payment engine from scratch. Where a custom cart interface is justified, it connects to Shopify rather than replacing its checkout. Your pages get the speed and design of an UpSite. Your shopping gets the security and operations of a platform built for it.
- Prices and availability always confirmed live by Shopify
- Card payments handled only on Shopify’s checkout
- Orders, inventory and customers managed in one place
- Product pages structured with Product JSON-LD for search and AI
- Honest advice when native Shopify is the better fit
Shopping questions
Selling with an UpSite.
What do you do about shopping businesses?
We pair fast UpSite pages with a real store system, usually Shopify. Your pages tell the story and make the sale; Shopify runs the cart, checkout, payments, inventory and orders. There are three levels depending on how much you sell.
Why Shopify?
Shopify offers a secure hosted checkout and official tools for connecting outside websites: cart links, embeddable shop components and a Storefront API. That lets us keep your pages fast without building a fragile checkout from scratch.
Can you move my WooCommerce or Wix store?
We first review products, variants, customer data, orders, subscriptions and app dependencies. A move may be possible, but not every record or feature transfers automatically. The quote identifies what moves, what changes and what stays.
Is a native Shopify store ever the better answer?
Yes. If you are mainly a large retail catalog that depends on many theme-based Shopify apps, a well-built native Shopify store may serve you better. We do not force every business into headless.
Do I need a Shopify plan?
Yes, for all three levels. Shopify charges its own plan and payment fees; we will help you pick the right plan for your level.
